Information Security company Qualys recently discovered a vulnerability in some versions of the Linux operating system. The vulnerability, known as GHOST, could lead to arbitrary code execution from unauthenticated users. Symantec have posted a blog post with more detailed information here.
Foldr 3.6 contains an important security update which protects against the GHOST vulnerbility. Customers who have enabled automatic updates on their Foldr appliance should already have received the update. If you are updating manually then please ensure that you install the update at the first available opportunity.
